Auf der transmediale 2017 feierte Bear With Me: A Play For Two Webmasters, Buch und Regie von net.art Pionierin Olia Lialina mit Schauspieler und Künstler Kevin Bewersdorf in der Hauptrolle, seine Premiere. Das Stück spielt im Jahre 1997, kurz vor dem dot.com Boom verbindet das Stück Live-Coding mit Live-Handlung und folgt den Figuren Jake, Alan und Lisa wie sie an ihren Webseiten arbeiten. Im Dezember 2016 sprach Fiona Shipwright mit Lialina und Bewersdorf von der Merz Akademie Stuttgart über ihre bevorstehende Performance und wie diese vergangene Ära des Internets unser Verständnis von Flüchtigkeit und Unbestimmbarkeit des Netzes heute fördern kann.
