Karl Heinz Jeron was born in 1962 in Memmingen, Germany, and lives and works in Berlin. He is member of the professional association of artists in Berlin since 1999. From 2000 to 2006 he was lecturer at the University of the Arts Berlin. Since 2004 he is member of the German Association of Artists. His works have been shown at the ZKM Karlsruhe, Ars Electronica Linz, Documenta X, at the ICA in London, the Walker Art Museum in Minneapolis, the Berlinische Galerie Berlin and the Museum of Mordern Art San Francisco.
