Juha Huuskonen is an artist, organizer, curator, and software designer based in Helsinki, Finland. His long-term interests lie in new forms of learning, democracy, and grassroots activism.
His recent activities include setting up the Alternative Design Capital in Helsinki (2012), coordinating the first Open Knowledge Festival (2012), and working as the Program Director of Pixelache Festival (2002-2011). He was also a co-founder of katastro.fi media art collective (1998) and Avanto Media Art Festival (2000). He currently works as the Director of HIAP Helsinki International Artist Program.
