Telepathy, telekinesis and other phenomena of mental power are an apparently inexhaustible subject for the film director Cronenberg. With „Scanner" Claus Richter delivers a low-budget video production oriented towards Cronenberg's motifs and featuring a diverse array of supernatural actions without the superfluous trappings of a narrative plot.
