GaMe! presents artistic positions around video games and toys. The works range from artistic interactive computer games, a film collage of modified sequences of commercial games to interactive, smaller robots based on remodeled toy dogs. The gallery [DAM]Berlin is part of an overall concept of imparting art that is exclusively dedicated to the influence of the computer and the digital in art and society. We are especially interested in the contextual examination of this medium and/or new artistic forms. Further components of the [DAM] project are the online-museum dam.org and the d.velop digital art award [ddaa] ddaaonline.org.
