During transmediale.10, the Instituto Cervantes in Berlin will host the exhibition of Award nominee Félix Luque Sánchez. His installation Chapter I: The Discovery will open as part of the Long Night of the Museums on Saturday 30 January, and run for the duration of the festival. A special opening preview will take place at 16:00 that day.
The Instituto Cervantes is a cultural organisation concerned with spreading and promoting the Spanish language and culture around the world. With more than 70 centres, the Instituto Cervantes is not only focused on Spanish culture, but also on the different traditions and customs from more than 20 countries. The main purpose of the institution is bringing the excellence of the Spanish-speaking scene in terms of language, culture, arts, science and society to every corner of the world. Its Berlin building is in the heart of the city, a few minutes walk from Alexanderplatz.

Chapter I: The Discovery received a production grant from the French Speaking Community of Belgium (digital art commission) and was produced with support from LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial and through an artist residency at iMAL.
