Allegorically, Kelvin brings uns back to a cave of the Stone Age. The inhabitant of the cave, clothed in fur, manages by a magical Open Sesame ritual to burst a window to the world into the crag. Without leaving his seat in the comfy wing chair, he is able to be taken in by the images which get through to his cave. Magical practice dovetails with the ritual consumption of pretzel sticks and canned beer. The iconic cave has become the cosy living room, the Kafkaesque den which you do not have to leave to form your world view. The vast amount of flickering and noise of countless little dots escalates to a cosmic state of noise for the person watching TV. Image and viewer are one.  (VideoFilmFest '88)
