66movingimages is an interactive voyage across the United States via Route 66. It is not strictly a documentary nor an animated film, so much as a virtual and tactile experience of this historic highway, as well as the Hopi Indian Reservations and Monument Valley. Viewers are invited to actively interact with and in the film, changing scenes and loops, colors and locations, as they desire. The project is designed so that the viewer/partici- pant(s) may decide for themselves what constitutes American culture in so far as Route 66 represents an 'historic' cross-section of America, it's real geografical and cultural anatomy, aside from the cliches it is most often associated with. 66movingimages
