A young man is driving in his car through a quiet countryside. In the beginning, he is still in a good mood and puts a tape into the cassette recorder. He wants to light a cigarette. Minor faults happen: The tape is being eaten by the recorder, and his cigarette is breaking. The young man is becoming nervous. He stops at the next curve, takes a dead rabbit out of the trunk and throws it into the grass. Beginning at this moment, he is cornered in the hell of permanent Deja Vus: He is finding himself again and again at the same spot he had just left and now tries everything to escape this vicious circle.
