Beginning with a pitch-black screen, the film's opening moves the viewer through shades of blue, eventually transforming before our eyes into vast seascape. Then, bisected by the horizon, the two halves of the water and the sky rapidly change before returning to the black of night. 24/7 uses digital technology to continue the tradition of experimental film dedicated to exploring the processes of representation within cinematography. Shot with a static camera, over a period of 24 hours a day for a full seven days, the film is an engaging exploration of the topography, natural phenomena and light.
