The greenhouse effect, the hole in the ozone layer: terms that are in the press year-in and year-out, everyone knows already. Just as everyone knows that nothing or too little is being done. O-Zone is not a video which takes up this theme for the umpteenth time in one of its usual forms. Harri Larjosto makes his own intuitions and visions on these problems visible. For him, it is a matter of emotions, not facts. Black humour plays a large role here, as do surrealities and absurdities. It is a cryptic work which poses many puzzling questions to the viewers. There is lots of Dada-yet remarkably enough, this work has been sold to Finnish television.
