"The basic premise is that stones function on such a massive timescale, i.e. so slowly, that we humans simply do not notice what they get up to. Inversely, humans function so quickly, with a comparatively tiny lifespan, that stones cannot perceive us at all, only our longterm effect on the landscape. This piece deals with one stone in particular, as it journeys back to its 'birth place', reminiscing about its past, lamenting the current state of the world." Philip Crean
