London, November 1989. Roger Penrose's latest assignment is a photo-series in Berlin. Here he meets the East Berliner Katja who knows about murky West Berlin developments. When he wakes up in her bed, he finds that Katja has been kidnapped. Roger's search leads him into Berlin's postwar era where, during the blockading of the city, he lands In the black market zone. In 1956 again, dragged into a CIA secret operation, he flees to the West during the building of the Wall. But will he save Katja?
