Nationalism and racism in the former Czechoslovakia. A political clip. One can hear: curses from all of the country's ethnic groups as well as scratch versions of the hymns of the Czech Lands and Slovakia. One can see: familiar mountain panoramas, three castles (the Moravian, Slovakian, and Czech seats of government), statues from each of the areas - and the conflicts between the various groups, who have been joined by the "guest-workers" of the country, particularly the Cubans and the Vietnamese. The police views all this with impotence, since it has lost all of its authority as a servant of the totalitarian regime.
