Chris Cunningham became widely known after a series of awarded music videos in the late 1990s he did for Aphex Twin, Portishead, Madonna and Björk amongst others. Versed in science-fiction and special-effects, Cunningham illustrates and  translates music into visuals and explores the interrelationship of sound and moving images. His work also includes video installations, short films, music, photography, and commercials.
