Hard-to-believe conditions: a city district built on the soil of what used to be a dumping ground for toxic wastes; where all the green areas have to be sealed over with cement be-cause the toxics rise to the surface. Other areas are barricaded, and yet a playground with sandboxes is erected. The toxics even penetrate cellar floors. Neither the city nor the Bayer company make a move. Not until filming the situation kicks up the dust does something happen - but a happy ending in Leverkusen? Gert Monheim will report on what happened after the filming.
