The basis of this film is an installation of model-like structures based on the real, existing remains of military infrastructure at the edge of the great salt desert in Utah. With a smooth horizontal pan, dislocated military installations slowly glide through the frame, ‘exoearth' is not a confrontation of nature and its military utilisation; it is rather a symbiotic alliance which denotes a point of intersection of real-world and model-world - a rendered computer game arena without action or starring characters.
