Gökce Yurdakul is Georg Simmel Professor of Diversity and Social Conflict at the Humboldt University of Berlin. She is also of the co-chair of the Foundations of Migration and Integration Research Cluster at the Berlin Institute of Migration and Integration Research at the same university. Her work focuses on issues relating to immigration, citizenship, anti-racism, and gender. Her most recent book is The Headscarf Debates: Conflicts of National Belonging (with Anna C. Korteweg, Stanford University Press, 2014).
