After graduating from the cinema department at Galatasaray University, Istanbul, Şirin (born in 1985) finished her MA in the Artistic Direction of Cultural Projects in France. She has worked as assistant director in feature documentaries. Currently, she is working on her photography, video and street art projects in Istanbul.
