Momoko Seto was born in 1980 in Tokyo, Japan. She studied Fine Arts at l'École supérieure des beaux-arts de Marseille. Seto was selected as a international exchange student by California College of Arts of San Francisco/Oakland, USA and was fellowship student at Le Fresnoy, Studio National des Arts Contemporains, while working for Asia Network (Réseau Asie, CNRS) as filmmaker (2007-2008). She lives and works in Paris and Tokyo.
