A video about the situation of black men with HIV. The stories of a small group of interviewees are supplemented only by a few gospel songs, prose texts, and blue box fade-ins. And yet precisely this reduction and the careful editing of the interviews gives the work its direct effect. The mosaic of experiences about the first shock of the realization, and the unavoidable changes in lives that result, produce a broad picture of the problems that this group faces. We see the incredible strength developed by some of the men - probably the only positive effect of the virus.
