A vexing game, part-drama, partdocumentary based on the life of Annie Lloyd Condit the director's mother. Annie Condit is a descendant of one of Pennsylvania's first families but has been living like a prisoner for a long time with a daughter, a son-in-law and their children. Weaving in motifs from Rapunzel, her story is told in ironic, surrealistic scenes. A film within a film, and a game within a game collage in which the actresses change figures and times to work their way to a happy ending in reality.
