Sealand, a mini-state founded on an oilrig in the florth Sea in 1967, is a data haven that offers very liberal internet hosting services. Dutch designer Daniel van der Velden is developing the ‘state identity'of the project in which Questions of (national) identity, network, history, politics, and fiction must be considered.
