Siegfried A. Fruhauf was born 1976 in Griekirchen and now lives and works in Linz and Heiligenberg.  Fruhauf trained as a commercial manager but has been embarking upon experiments with film and video since 1993. He studied experimental visual design at the Art University Linz and since 2001 has organised film and art events with the architect Rudolf Pointinger and the graphic designer Horst Scheiböck as part of the artistic group 'Wunderkinder'. Fruhauf has participated in numerous international film festivals and in 2002 he received the award for Film Art by the Austrian Federal Chancellery.
