Building No. 1 in the former headquarters of the GDR Ministry for State Security (Stasi), where its head Erich Mielke had his offices, is now the Stasimuseum. In addition to the original offices there are exhibits that show operative technology and the ministry’s impact on citizens, a reconstructed Stasi exhibition and much more.
