This work reflects twenty years in the history of independent video within the context of Vidéographe's evolution from 1972 to today - Vidéographe as the originator of the video medium in Quebec. Grouped according to specific themes or authors, the excerpts appear in historical order. The images presented are integral in the sense that they have not been altered by modern technology. Nearly 70 excerpts of works produced / distributed by the Vidéographe are included - amongst others: "Hitch- Hiking" (F. Vitale), "Le vojage de l'ogre" (M. Paradis), "Le voleur vit en enfer" (R. Morin), "La récitd'A"(E. Valiquette). "My goal was to wander as little as possible from both the aesthetic's nature and the spirit of the various periods we go through, to better reflect the evolution of independent video in Quebec."

In addition to this work there will be a premiere-surprise screening of a new work by one of Canada s most important video makers.
