For the 10th anniversary of Vorspiel, transmediale and CTM Festival again present an extended pre-festival programme of 35 participating partners and a mix of in-person and online formats. Prolonged over more than two months, this year project spaces, galleries and cultural institutions will once more offer space for digital art and culture as well as experimental music and sound art. With a programme curated by the participating venues, Vorspiel aims to facilitate critical discourse on art, technology, politics & identity as well as constant exchange and reflection. Like every year, the programme will start one week before the CTM Festival on 15 January and will this time run until 28 March 2021.

In the case of ongoing event restrictions due to the pandemic, we will try to extend the Vorspiel period even further into the year.
