Jacob Nielsen (b. 1975) is a visual artist and programmer working with conceptual aspects of media and software. He lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is educated at The Jutland Academy of Fine Art (1998-2003) and at The University of Aarhus (Master of Information and Technology 2004-2008) with a graduating thesis on the aesthetics and culture of computer viruses. He has participated in exhibitions and festivals widely across Europe, as well as a couple of shows in the U.S, Korea and China.
