When you put the word "tube" on a search engine, you will immediately have "porn". This emersion brings some questions through and around this post-digital scenario. How does the Tube Model form itself digitally? Which aesthetics are produced? What are the market mechanisms at the back of this mega-conceptual form? Within the field of Netporn studies, those questions open up a fieldwork dealing with the tensions between the economy of digital pornography and the perception of body in the everyday life. For these reasons we aim to cover a range of subjects representing the mainstream market as well as the independent side of it. The website Come4 represents the independent and politically engaged side of the phenomenon. Through the developed tube languages, media studies and Netporn researcher Feona Atwood describes critically the “chav” imaginary analysing the sexualisation of “class” through Netporn. The panel is moderated by Sharif Mowlabocus.
