Candida TV
Candida TV
Candida TV from Rome will set up a super local television broadcasting network to provide extensive media coverage of events taking place within the House of World Cultures. Footage shot and produced in the trans- mediale Workspace and other festival locations will be edited and post- produced in a mobile mini television studio. The stones and reports will be broadcasted in the House of World Cultures using a low power antenna. The signal can be received by TV sets which are allocated in various parts of the building. The repertoire of contributions to the broadcasted stream ranges from interviews of artists and visitors to preproduced material of the AHA archive which includes reports on activism in Italy. Furthermore visitors will be animated to contribute to the programme. They will be encouraged to bring their own video tapes and other footage to the studio unit in order to present it on the air. The project will result in a television programme by the audience for the audience, supervised and conducted by Candida TV. Agnese Trocchi is the project manager of Candida TV. She works on the technical setup as well as on the editorial parts of the project. Antonio Veneziano is settingup and maintaining the broadcasting equipment for the festival location.
