'We met in the fall of '92 in front of the old American movie theater Columbia for a film premiere and, as usual, got info a conversation. We were pretty agitated from watching the Rostock Pogrom Show on TV, and we realized that all three of us had already had the idea to respond to this program with a film. Our point was to oppose the media's increasing dissemination of right-wing ideology caused by its superficial sensationalism. We wanted to counter this develop­ ment with a more intimate point of view, consciously stressing contradictions. This is how P fu i... came into existence: a tour de force trinity exploring the offensive extremes of right-wing ideology. The compulsion, the physical urge and the private sphere of the German Nationalist come into focus. We step right in the middle and have to take care that nothing of this taints us - (yuck!) Of course, faeces (that of the others), a desire for fear, drill, xenophobia, violence, boots, and uniform (licking) are what this is about.
