Book Launch with Pinar Yoldas, Regine Hengge, Ingeborg Reichle

On 4 May 2014, 15:00, the artist Pinar Yoldas will talk about current findings of scientific research on biofilms with microbiologist Regine Hengge against the background of her exhibition An Ecosystem of Excess.. Interview with Laura Poitras: The Art of Disclosure

Seidenstrasse at the CCC Congress: The Pipe Dream goes on!

OCTO-P7C-1 Intertubular Pneumatic Packet Distribution System was transmediale 2013's Official Miscommunication Platform. Last December, during the 30C3 Chaos Computer Club Congress a development of OCTO-P7C-1 named Seidenstrasse was collaboratively created. Seidenstrasse is a revision of the OCTO installation as an Open Artwork.

Project Description: Molten Media

Focusing upon the material aspects of data storage and transmission devices, Molten Media examines the flux of media and matter through the interconnection between velocity and density. This research applies a deep-time perspective to a rapid-cycling throwaway media culture, projecting an alternate timescale for its material existence.

reSource @ CYBERFEST 2013 Berlin

The festival for technology-based art is soon coming to Berlin! So far the festival has only been held in Russia and will now be outside St. Petersburg for the first time. It will be happening in Berlin from the 13th till the 17th of November in the WYE. reSource transmediale will also be giving its contribution to the programme during these five days of CYBERFEST.

Urban Knights and reSource

On the 5th of November the Urban Knights is taking place in Berlin for the third time this autumn. The event starts at 7 pm in the Betahaus at Prinzessinenstrasse. A reSource project presentation takes place there at this time.
